How to edit video

Mini YouTube Studio — Browser Video Editor (Demo)

Mini YouTube Studio — Browser Video Editor (Demo)

Upload a video, auto-detect highlights, build a storyboard, edit captions, capture thumbnail, and export a final video — all in your browser. No backend required.

No file selected

Tip: Use Export to record the composed sequence as a new downloadable video file.

How it works (short)

  1. Upload a video file (must interact with page for recording to work).
  2. Auto-detect highlights (approx) — loud sections via audio amplitude.
  3. Select and arrange clips in the storyboard.
  4. Preview the final sequence, capture thumbnail, edit captions, then Export → downloads the composed video (recorded live in the browser).

Limitations: very large files may be slow; caption speech-to-text is not provided here — we create editable timestamps. For production-quality ASR or ML highlight models you'll need a backend or hosted service.

Storyboard Editor (drag to reorder)

You can drag clips to reorder. Click ✏️ to edit timestamps. Drag reorder works on modern browsers.

Export & Downloads

After clicking Export, the tool will play the clips sequentially (in a hidden recorder) and record a single downloadable MP4/WebM (browser-dependent). Please allow playback and microphone/media permissions if asked.
